The Name is Chalcone. Through research, I have a further understanding and discovery of 94-41-7.

This manuscript details the impact of stabilizing agents on the structural, optical properties of Ag@SnO2 core shell nanoparticles and its biological applications. Three different stabilizing agent viz. Poly Vinyl Pyrrolidone (PVP), zeroth generation triazolyl glycodendrimer and zeroth generation triazolyl chalcone dendrimer were used as stabilizers in the synthesis of Ag@SnO2 nanoparticles. The results were compared to study their effect on the structural and optical properties of the synthesized samples. The structural parameters of the samples were investigated by XRD analysis, FESEM and HRTEM images. The presence of SnO2 shell on the Ag core was also corroborated by XPS results. The XRD data was used for refining and characterizing the elements present in the sample by Reitveld method. The average crystallite size, dislocation density, lattice parameters (a, c), lattice strain of the samples were calculated using XRD measurements. Williamson – Hall (W-H) method and Size Strain Plot (SSP) method were used to calculate the lattice strain of the synthesized sample. The concentric rings of the SAED pattern and the lattice fringe images exhibited the interplanar d-spacing values and the results were compared with XRD measurements. The optical properties of the samples were investigated using UV-Vis spectra and the band gap energy were calculated using Tauc plot. The Photoluminescence (PL) studies of the Ag@SnO2 core – shell nanoparticles with the three stabilizing agents are also discussed in this work. The antibacterial and antifungal activities of the chalcone dendrimer stabilized Ag@SnO2 core – shell nanoparticles were tested against the pathogens Bacillus subtilis, Proteus mirabilis, Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger. Bi(NO3)(3)center dot 5H(2)O and (NH4)(6)Mo7O24 center dot 4H(2)O were used as precursors to synthesize flaky gamma-Bi2MoO6 samples by a hydrothermal method, and Pt/gamma-Bi2MoO6 samples with different mass fractions were prepared by an NaBH4 reduction method. Alpha alkylation of benzyl alcohol and acetophenone with photocatalysts under visible light irradiation was performed, and the activity of 4 wt % Pt/gamma-Bi2MoO6 (gamma-Bi2MoO6 was prepared by a nitric acid method, pH = 9, and reaction temperature 180 degrees C) was the best. The photocatalytic reaction conditions were optimized by changing various kinds of variables, such as the type of catalyst, solvent, and base, and the amount of base, catalyst, and reactant. The optimal conditions for the organic reaction were 75 mg 4 wt % Pt/gamma-Bi2MoO6, 6 mL n-heptane, 1.2 mmol NaOH, 1 mmol acetophenone, and 3 mmol benzyl alcohol. Under the optimal reaction conditions, the effects of different light wavelengths and light intensities on the reaction were measured, and the cycling ability of the photocatalyst was tested. After five cycles, the photochemical properties of the catalyst were relatively stable. Finally, the active substances were identified (such as electrons (e(-), holes (h(+)), hydroxyl radicals (center dot OH), and superoxide radicals (center dot O-2(-)).

I found the field of Chemistry very interesting. Saw the article Asymmetric Transfer Hydrogenation in Thermomorphic Microemulsions Based on Ionic Liquids published in 2019.0. Application In Synthesis of Chalcone, Reprint Addresses Bica-Schroder, K (corresponding author), TU Wien, Inst Appl Synthet Chem, Getreidemarkt 9-163, A-1060 Vienna, Austria.. The CAS is 94-41-7. A thermomorphic ionic-liquid-based microemulsion system was successfully applied for the Ru-catalyzed asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ketones. On the basis of the temperature-dependent multiphase behavior of the targeted microemulsion, simple product separation as well as catalyst recycling could be realized. The use of water-soluble ligands improved the immobilization of the catalyst in the microemulsion phase and significantly decreased the catalyst leaching into the organic layer upon extraction of the product. Eventually, the optimized microemulsion system could be applied to a wide range of aromatic ketones that were reduced with good isolated yields (up to 98%) and enantioselectivities (up to 97%), while aliphatic ketones were less successful.

The present study was planned to apply the nanotechnology to therapeutically proven flavonoid-rich fraction for obtaining a formulation with enhanced antihyperglycemic activity. The leaves were extracted in aqueous methanol and fractionated to yield a flavonoid-rich fraction. This fraction was formulated into an aqueous nanosuspension using PVA through the nanoprecipitation method. The developed formulations were characterized for physical parameters and optimum nanosuspension was evaluated against type 2 diabetes in high-fat diet-fed, streptozotocin-induced diabetic animals. The pharmacokinetic parameter and histopathology were assessed to determine the kinetic profile and tissue architectures post oral administration of selected nano suspension. The selected nanosuspension was also studied for stability under accelerated conditions. Flavonoidrich fraction was obtained using Kupchan partitioning. The developed nanosuspension PG-EA-NS-B showed optimum physical parameters. In hyperglycemia induced by streptozotocin, in high-fat diet-fed rats, it effectively restores the normal level of blood glucose in the first hour. The effects were comparable to standard Glibenclamide. In biochemical observations, PG-EA-NS-B, as well as PG-EA, showed beneficial effects on various hepatic and renal parameters. The pharmacokinetic parameters showed that nanosuspension enhances the absorption and decreases the metabolism of flavonoid actives. The selected nanosuspension and free flavonoid fraction showed rectification of histological changes. The nanosuspension was most stable in cool conditions. PVA based nanosuspensions can be a viable strategy for oral delivery of natural flavonoids, as it significantly affected the absorption and metabolism of flavonoids upon oral administration.

The diastereoselective reduction of gamma-keto-sulfonates to afford alpha,gamma-substituted gamma-hydroxy sulfonates has been investigated. Herein we report the first example of a diastereoselective carbonyl reduction whereby hydride attack is directed via chelation of a neighbouring sulfonate group to a boron atom, thus affording prevalently trans gamma-hydroxy sulfonates. Product Details of 94-41-7. I found the field of Food Science & Technology very interesting. Saw the article Zuccagnia-type Propolis from Argentina: A potential functional ingredient in food to pathologies associated to metabolic syndrome and oxidative stress published in 2020.0, Reprint Addresses Isla, MI (corresponding author), CONICET UNT, Inst Bioprospecc & Fisiol Vegetal INBIOFIV, RA-4000 San Miguel De Tucuman, Tucuman, Argentina.; Isla, MI (corresponding author), Univ Nacl Tucuman, Fac Ciencias Nat, RA-4000 San Miguel De Tucuman, Tucuman, Argentina.; Isla, MI (corresponding author), Fdn Miguel Lillo, Area Bot, Inst Morfol Vegetal, RA-4000 San Miguel De Tucuman, Tucuman, Argentina.. The CAS is 94-41-7. Through research, I have a further understanding and discovery of Chalcone.

The effect of Argentine propolis extracts against enzymes related to metabolic syndrome and oxidative stress, as well as the botanical origin of raw propolis, were studied. Histological and chemical analyses of propolis samples revealed that the botanical origin isZuccagnia punctata, an Argentine medicinal plant. The melissopalynological analysis showed both pollen grains ofZ. punctataand the other plant species. This result indicates that the differences found in the botanical remains compared to the palynological studies may have been caused by the bees selecting resinous shrubs mainly ofZ. punctatafor the production of propolis and other plants with flowers for the production of honey. The richness of propolis was remarkable in two flavonoid precursors (2 ‘,4 ‘-dihydroxy-3 ‘-methoxychalcone, 2 ‘,4 ‘-dihydroxychalcone), the major chemical components ofZ. punctata. The hydroalcoholic extracts of Argentine propolis andZ. punctatawere able to inhibit enzymes associated with the metabolic syndrome, including alpha-glucosidase, alpha-amylase and lipase, with IC(50)values between 7 to 14, 37 to 48, and 13 to 28 mu g/mL, respectively. Biological activity was mainly attributed to chalcones. Oxygen and nitrogen reactive species scavenging activity was determined by the assays of superoxide radical (O-2(center dot-)), hydroxyl radical (HO center dot), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), nitric oxide (NO center dot), and cation radical (ABTS(center dot+)). Results showed SC(50)values between 115 to 278, 12.50 to 46; 39 to 92; 50 to 104.50 and 23 to 33.75 mu g/mL, respectively. This study suggests for the first time that propolis from Argentina is highly effective in inhibiting enzymes related to the metabolic syndrome and in free-radical scavenging that would justify its use as a dietary supplement or as a functional ingredient in special food. Practical Application Propolis from Catamarca, Argentina, is traditionally used as medicine and food. Its botanical origin isZuccagnia punctata, an endemic plant species popularly used as a medicine in Argentina. Propolis has the ability to regulate the activity of enzymes involved in the carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, and consequently in metabolic syndrome. Besides, its antioxidant capacity makes it a natural product that can be used as a dietary supplement or as a functional ingredient in special foods. It is important to highlight that in the Argentine Food Code, propolis was incorporated in 2008 as a dietary supplement and the present results give major added value to this product.
